Beaches
on Cape Cod
With over 500 miles of coastline, Cape Cod is filled with an incredibly variety of beaches.
Buzzards Bay
While there are only a handful of public beaches on the Cape side of Buzzards Bay, they are spectacular. Typically warmer water and fine sand. Buzzard’s Bay beaches offer an extraordinary sunset each night that you don’t want to miss.

National Seashore
The Cape Cod National Seashore faces the Atlantic Ocean and offers dunes, cliffs, waves, and some unbelievable beaches. Cahoon Hollow is a must visit for adults as the Beachcomber is one of the only beachside bars you will find on Cape Cod.

- Marconi Beach
- Cahoon Hollow Beach
- Head of the Meadow Beach
- Race Point Beach
The Sound
Warm waters, soft sand and flat seas are typical of beaches on the sound. These waters are shallower and separate Cape Cod from Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket Island.

- Menauhant Beach
- Falmouth Heights Beach
- Dowses Beach
- Craigville Beach
- Seagull Beach
- Red River Beach

Cape Cod Bay
Cape Cod Bay offers some of the most impressive tidal beaches you can find in the US, as low tide can cause the shore to stretch out hundreds of yards. The currents pull water in from the north so the waters tend to be a bit cooler.
- Scusset Beach
- Sandy Neck Beach
- Mayflower Beach
- Skaket Beach
